Many can never be shared due to confidentiality — but it’s likely that you carry digital experiences I invented in your pocket every day. I was fortunate to get to spend some time with Bill. He was a co-founder of IDEO, a visionary, and he literally coined the term “interaction design”. During the last couple of years, Bill was working on his definitive book on that topic. I didn’t play any kind of key role, but sometimes Bill sought feedback on his drafts from colleagues. Like many others, I was happy to respond. Bill’s thoughtful and human approach was a big influence on my development as a designer.
