IDEO Color Visualizer

Our second entry for the 5k competition was the IDEO Web Color Visualizer. In 2001, there was no way to rapidly preview color palette choices for web pages. We had to edit code. Mark Chance and I made this simple visualization tool, and at the time ID Magazine’s Interactive Media Design Review called it the “single most useful web page for designers.” The 20-year-old code still functions, despite a few layout glitches.
