Here’s how I can help your organization make an impact…
Design research
At IDEO from 2000-2007, I led a group of around 40 interaction designers and human factors researchers. I then co-founded boutique design consultancy Daylight, and helped grow it internationally. After exiting Daylight in 2016, I have served as the Chief Innovation Officer of a medical services company and have consulted for a top secret startup. I’m also named on a number of patents, ranging from household cleaning products to tactile digital technologies.
I studied design at the University of Manitoba in Canada and did some continuing education at California College of Art and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. My interests include photography, playing guitar, recording engineering, and wrangling our two kids, ages 9 and 12.
I divide my time between Winnipeg, in the center of Canada, and San Francisco. I am happy to collaborate remotely or in person depending on the need.
