I help clients create products, software and services that are good for people, business, and the world.

For the past 20 years I’ve worked with organizations large and small to identify opportunities, invent new offerings, and then help make them real.

At IDEO from 2000-2007, I led a group of around 40 interaction designers and human factors researchers. I then co-founded boutique design consultancy Daylight, and helped grow it internationally. After exiting Daylight in 2016, I have served as the Chief Innovation Officer of a medical services company and have consulted for a top secret startup. I’m also named on a number of patents, ranging from household cleaning products to tactile digital technologies.

I divide my time between Winnipeg, in the center of Canada, and San Francisco. I am happy to collaborate remotely or in person depending on the need.
